WhatsApp Alerts
3BO uses WhatsApp as the primary interface for alerts and live tracking. Save the 3BO chat bot as a contact and send Help or Menu anytime. Full device chapters are available under the user manual.
Main commands (send to Bot, just like any normal WhatsApp message)
- Sleep – pause motion / tracking alerts until setting it to Wake (low-battery alerts will continue)
- Wake – resumptions of all alerts and notifications
- Track – starts live tracking – you will receive a map link URL (your loaded contacts are not notified yet)
- Share ride – we notify family/friends that you are on a ride (it’s a no-panic message + live link)
- Emergency – notify family/friends you need help (urgent message + same link)
- Status – last seen time, battery, map / live link
- Report – recent GPS logs
- Stop Tracking – end a live session.
Movement alerts
Movement alone does not start live tracking and does not message your contacts. Your need to respond to movements alerts by picking one of the commands, e.g. sleep, ignore or track.
Why WhatsApp + cellular wins
You get the alert on the app you already use, then a live map session that reports over the tracker’s cellular connection – useful when you are away from crowds of phones, including rural rides.
